Co-existence of good and evil in human history and how it contributes to personal understanding
The co-existence of good and evil throughout human history, such as the French revolution, World War l and the Industrial revolution has impacted upon my understanding of sin. This is because of the sins committed during these events. In the French Revolution the sins committed were, murdering, stealing, lying, keeping Sabbath day holy and covet. These are the sins that were committed. This is because lots of people were killed, once people had died, people stole their belongs likes boots and hats, they were lied to and didn’t keep the Sabbath day holy. In World War l, the sins that were committed were, murdering, stealing, lying, wanting something that others have and not keeping a Sabbath day holy. This is because in the War, people's lives were taken, belongings were taken/stolen and since there was deaths, it wasn’t keeping the Sabbath day holy. In the Industrial revolution, there weren't as many sins committed compared to the other two events. The sins committed were, stealing, lying and murdering. This is due to, belongings being taken, not being told the truth about wages and people lives being taken by the increasing number on machinery. These three events, the French Revolution, World War l and the Industrial revolution contribute to my understanding of sin. This is because, it gives me a much clearer vision of what type of sins can be committed in other major events other than the events in today's world. In conclusion, many people committed sin in these events.
